Bethel Park elementary students took their coding skills to the next level by participating in a special computer science session after completing Unit 2 of the Exploring Programming course through Carnegie Mellon University’s Computer Science Academy with Python.

The Bethel Park School District has announced several key administrative appointments for the 2025-26 school year, reflecting its commitment to strong leadership and continued educational excellence.

Bethel Park Schools WILL PROCEED with after-school events as scheduled today, April 30, 2025, with the exception of activities scheduled in the high school swimming pool. That area remains closed.

Update 5:45 AM: All Bethel Park schools are closed today, Wednesday, April 30, 2025, due to widespread power outages. Transportation services are also canceled.

The Bethel Park School District has received three significant awards for excellence in communication in the 2024 PenSPRA Excellence in Education Communication Contest, which highlights school districts from across the commonwealth for their digital and print communication.

In March, Bethel Park High School inducted its Alumni Hall of Fame Class of 2025, honoring five distinguished graduates whose accomplishments have significantly impacted their fields and communities.

This year's Bethel Park school picnic at Kennywood Park will be on Friday, June 20, 2025. Tickets are available for as low as $31.99 if purchased by June 6.

Kindergarten registration for the Bethel Park School District is now open online at www.bpsd.org, where parents can complete the enrollment process from home. Required documents include proof of age, proof of residency, and completed health forms. Children must be five years old by September 1 to enroll.
