Bethel Park School District is pleased to announce Mr. Chris Bolin's appointment as its new Technology Director. With over 20 years of educational technology experience and a strong IT leadership background, Bolin brings knowledge and expertise to the district's technology initiatives.
Throughout his career, Bolin has demonstrated a commitment to innovation and excellence in educational technology. His tenure as Director of Technology at Albert Gallatin Area School District saw him spearhead numerous projects to enhance the educational experience for students and faculty alike. Bolin's leadership, strategic vision and ability to communicate technology goals effectively have consistently resulted in successful implementations of advanced systems and tools.
One of Bolin's key strengths is team management. He has a proven track record of building and leading high-performing technology teams, inspiring staff to excel, and ensuring the smooth operation of the technology infrastructure. Additionally, his experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets has enabled him to strategically allocate resources to maximize the district's return on investment.
"We are thrilled to welcome Mr. Bolin to our team," said Superintendent Dr. James Walsh, who helped spearhead the group that identified Mr. Bolin as a serious candidate. "His proven track record of enhancing educational technology and fostering collaborative partnerships aligns perfectly with our district's vision for empowering student success through technology."
Bolin's collaborative approach and strong communication skills have been instrumental in fostering cooperation among various stakeholders, including teachers, administrators, and IT staff. His adaptability and commitment to innovation ensure that the district remains at the forefront of educational technology, continuously evolving to meet the needs of students and staff in an ever-changing landscape.
"I am excited to embark on this new journey where I can infuse my wealth of experience into the continued success and innovation of the Bethel Park School District," said Bolin. “The district's dedication to academic excellence and embrace of the latest technology made this role particularly appealing to me."
Bolin replaces Mr. Brett Slezak, who left the district in December for a similar role at Quaker Valley School District.
